Description: The tallest building in the world. Beyond the limits, concrete pumped to a height of at least 600m. Completed 2010.

This project was a welcomed challenge for BASF. Nonetheless, MasterGlenium SKY 504 was the only concrete admixture of the many tested that allowed concrete to be pumped from the ground up to such heights, to shape the structural form of the tower, withstanding high ambient temperatures. The polycarboxilic ether based product enabled the concrete to meet all the specification criteria and remain cohesive whilst withstanding the immense pressure in the pipeline. MasterGlenium SKY 504 therefore enabled constant supply of the correct concrete, an added benefit for the client. ​​
